The architecture of the
Radicom-i Tracking system is shown below.
The system is scalable and based on the use of Microsoft Windows Operating
system plus many other Microsoft software products.
Radicom-i
server block diagram:

The API Interfaces allow customers access to the electronic data captured by the
tracking system. This can be exported in a number of formats to allow simple
integration with other software applications.
Sims Support
Radicom-i supports O2, Vodafone and Orange GPRS and 3G.
User Viewing Software
The user viewing software uses local maps supplied by Microsoft MapPoint.
In addition the viewing software requires Windows .Net 1.1 SVP2.
A simple vehicle installation plus software which uses an internet interface is
all you need to be able to track your fleet.

specification for your needs contact the Tracking Engineering Support team.

Radicom-i can take data
feedback minute by minute from
up to four sensors - this means
for example if you needed to
know details useful for gritting
operations such as salt
spreading, rate of spread,
spread width and road
temperature, this is all easily accessible via
Radicom-i's intuitive interface.
We can also
sense minute by minute the speed
of the vehicle thus providing
your transport manager with all
the information to prove which
roads where gritted, when, with
what volume of material
deposited on the road, the
spread width, at what time, in
which direction. The system also
provides a road temperature
measurement system as required
by the latest legislation.
